Food for thought, Raging and D/s

Several discussion with many over the months have been quite interesting in how our bodies deal with the requirements of D/s.  Interesting to see after a session how ginger like your submissive acts towards the events.  Exercise and having a healthy diet always seem to come yuo.  So this months will be on that topic.  As always check with resources for what you need.  Ask your doctor.

Almost anyone know the one thing we need is plenty of Calcium which is essential so much so not enough the body takes it from your bones.  Which is why they get brittle and fracture because bones become less dense and weaker.  Some foods that have a nice level of calcium are;  Turnip greens, Sesame seeds, Almonds, Kale, Bok Choy, white beans to name a few.

Folate/Folic Acid which is vitamin B  You can get this from fruits, vegetables and those fortified cereals. If you feel that your not getting enough take a vitamin supplement.  

Speaking of B vitamins "B12"  which is good for creating blood cells and healthy nerve functions (good for brains functions).  Always want to have a clear mind when in play.  As you get older your body finds it harder to adsorb so you might not be getting enough.  I know Vegans do not want to hear this but they are more susceptible to "B12" deficiency than the average person.   Reason? animal foods is best source like meat, fish, dairy and eggs.

Water, well it might not seem essential as you have it everyday in one form or another.  With age sense of thirst might decline or some med's you are taking will increase risk of becoming dehydrated.  Really think about how much water you sweat off during play or doing your normal activities.  If you have a high fiber diet you need to drink even more water with age.

Magnesium as crucial to so many different things so making sure you get enough helps keep your heart healthy, bones strong (so does potassium)and helps immune system to boot.  Most do not eat half of what they need for this one and well as you age harder to digest like everything else.  Again grab some fresh fruit, veggis, nuts, whole grains, and seeds to which you will find them great for magnesium.


Vitamin D is a key vitamin the helps your body adsorb all those goodies and there are nice foods to grab that one too but right now doctors are debating as well as nutritionist that maybe older you get the more you just want to get a supplement.  Main reason our skin as it gets older becomes less effective at absorbing that one.  

Omega-3 Fats which really does help with that rheumatoid arthritis and slow some of vision loss when not blindfolded.  My favorite food for this is salmon but you can other fish.  Study's point toward helping  even keeping the brain sharper to try to out think your dominate.


Salmon Pasta Salad Recipe

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt (sea salt if you have it)
1 teaspoon dry mustard
Dash of cayenne to taste
3/4 cup whole milk (I have been suing Soy milk and works as good but you might have to adjust just a slight bit)

Grab a saucepan, combine all those dry ingredients Then grab that trusty wooden spoon from Dominate play toys and blend in milk and cook over a nice light medium heat,  Make sure to stir often and once it can coat that spoon evenly then on to next part.

2 egg yolks
1/4 cup vinegar (white or cider)
2 teaspoons cold butter

Beat egg yolks in a bowl (not like your dominate does but with a whisking motion). Add some of that hot liquid gradually to yolks and blend well. (this helps keep it from lumping) Return mixture to saucepan and cook until thickened. Remove from heat, add vinegar and butter and whisk until mixed in. Cool. 

1 nice salmon fillet (one could use can salmon but I prefer fresh)

I cook mine to my liking  and you can as well.  Many different good seared recipes with different flavorings but in this case I make mine bland because of the items I add to it,  Either cut or flake it with fork.

3 cups shell pasta noodles or even try the tri-color pasta.

Cook the pasta noodles in salted water until just al dente.  Cool noodles under running cold water or ice bath.

Next is the bits and pieces of fresh stuff.

1/4 cup diced green onion
1/4 cup scallions
1/4 cup diced bell peppers ( I use more depending on my mood.
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup sliced radish (highly under rated veggie)
1/2 cup cucumbers  
1 tbsp dill weed fresh if you can find it
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
salt and pepper to taste

Cool, add the salmon, vegetables, and dressing. Stir well, cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Foods that are Natural Aphrodisiacs

Feeling a little down in energy from long RP sessions?  Need a boost to raise your physical Intimacy and health?  Dungeon needs a little boost for your Libido?  For centuries its is believed that  certain foods have natural aphrodisiac to increase your desires.  There are several theories that suggest that these reduce stress and increase blood flow which have that positive effect. 
Here is a short list of a few.  Use them as you see fit and might even explain that sudden desire out of no where.

Almonds: High in beneficial fats, fibre, and vitamin E. and its sweet fragrance is enticing

Red wine: research shows increases blood flow, relaxes you, and lowers inhibitions. Just recommend drinking on moderation and enjoy the wine.
Basil: Sweet, pungent herb to liven up your meals and your sex life and adds fresh flavour, but it could also enhance sexual desire by increasing heart rate and improving blood flow.

Honey: Rich in B vitamins, organic raw honey supports testosterone production, which can increase desire and sticky enough to lick off a few nice areas.

Coconut water: coconuts contains the same level of electrolytes as your blood. It is also a metabolism booster that increases blood flow, and thus, may serve as an aphrodisiac. Along with minerals, coconut water is high in vitamin C. and great for bones.

Cinnamon: Try this warming spice sprinkled on a warm glass of almond milk or a nice spiced egg nog

Chocolate: Pure, dark chocolate - Chocolate contains phenylethylamine (PEA), which stimulates the same hormone your body releases during sex. It also sparks dopamine production in the brain. It does not take much. Another fun food to use.

Pomegranates: Seeds from this luscious red fruit improve blood flow and are rumoured to increase genital sensitivity.

Pine Nuts: Loaded with zinc, which is essential for producing testosterone, pine nuts have reportedly provided men with sexual stamina. Grind them up with basil, garlic, and olive oil for a delicious pesto.

Aniseed:  With a sweet liquorice flavour, ancient Greek and       Roman civilizations believed anise strengthened female sexual arousal.

Pesto Recipe:

Ingredients:

•    1/4 cup nuts, such as walnuts, pine nuts or sunflower kernels
•    2 cups packed chopped raw herbs/greens, such as basil, kale or parsley
•    1 clove garlic, minced
•    1/2 cup grated hard cheese, such as Parmesan or Romano
•    2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
•    2 tablespoons lemon juice
•    1 tablespoon water (optional)
•    1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
•    1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

Making it is quite easy for me I use a Food Processor by pulsing the things together.  Also, can be made with a bowl and a cooking mallet.  I use the pesto in a few recipes and finding it surprisingly refreshing on different foods

The sensual side of food is best said "What else can  satisfy you on so many levels?"
 Think about your favourite food.  How do you react to it? What happens when you taste it?  What happens when you see it? What happens when you smell it?  How does your body react to your favourite food?
I believe food is something totally envelops you, engages your full attention, heightens your awareness and challenges you to     commit fully.  As a Chef I am well aware of what foods can        produce the emotions of others.  Hence why I only make my  chocolate cake I call "Death by Chocolate" for select few.  Some foods take a leap of faith to try something new and adventurous side of each of us.
Imagine a strawberry as it slides across a women's breast or your masters cheek. Dipping the strawberry in champagne or even chocolate and watching it drip on to the skin. All around you start to hear the sounds of your lover breath, feel the movements, your mind excites your body.  Head spins, eyes dilate and so starts the subspace and , you can smell the strawberry, champagne and   lover in deeper details than you could have ever imagine.  Hence later when you have a strawberry shortcake your body reacts to remembering that moment. 
Eating and making love provide nourishment and satisfaction. I have known for years food takes people to places where they feel. Think, for those who have seen  the "Matrix",  on the lady who eats that wonderful desert at the restaurant and what happens to her body...  It is not surprising that some food has been described as deeply orgasmic. Chocolate is a good example that stimulates hormones and truffles smell arouses senses.  In love making, eating can awake the body and leads to a  very intimate powerful connection which produces a sense of urgency and desire to open up joyous deliriously effect.. Just a few of some foods that are good for bed play are. in no order; (Not responsible for any thing that two make three nine months later. )
WHIPPED CREAM
Canned whipped cream and maraschino cherries even chocolate syrup added.   Nice thing about this one its easy to wash off skin and can be a tasty treat.  Recently, you can add flavoured whipped cream a taste to your fitting. With the cherries and chocolate your laundry bill might be a bit higher than normal.
FRUIT
Strawberries and or other fruits you like.  Make a trial of small bit size pieces and place in areas that are known erotic zones. Add whip cream for lots licks and little nibbling.
